Fledgling, by the Brothers Grimm, adapted by Adam Gidwitz
August 01, 2010 10:15 AM PDT

Fledgling is a crazy little story. It’s a bit violent—a woman wants to kill a child (what else is new?). But what I love about it is that it is so strange and magical and matter of fact. I may use it as a chapter one of these days... so remember this one. It’s a gem. It’s also my first public podcast. Enjoy.
